"Il tour è stato molto bello e interessante, la guida preparatissima, coinvolgente e simpatica. L'unica difficoltà è stata nella prenotazione: sul sito e sul biglietto c'era scritto che per prenotare bisogna essere un minimo di due persone. Essendo da solo ho rischiato e prenotato lo stesso, e per fortuna tutto è andato a buon fine. Consiglio vivamente di togliere il vincolo del minimo di due partecipanti per chi viaggia da solo. Esperienza comunque ottima!"

Wir fanden die Tour, bei der man drei unterschiedliche Spots besucht, interessant und spannend. Unser Tourguidin Maggy hat viele Infos geteilt und die Geschichte von Cagliari toll nahegebracht. Unser Hund durfte (zu meiner Überraschung) auch mitkommen. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

La visita di Cagliari Sotterranea con aperitivo è stata un'ottima scelta e un modo perfetto per iniziare il nostro weekend cagliaritano. La formula bilingue permette di accogliere partecipanti di diverse nazionalità senza compromettere la qualità dell'esperienza.
Il tour è coinvolgente, ricco di curiosità e mai noioso. Abbiamo visitato la Galleria–Rifugio dell’Istituto dei Salesiani, illuminata dalla sola luce delle candele, la Cripta di Santa Restituta e l’Area Archeologica di Sant’Eulalia: tre luoghi molto diversi tra loro, ciascuno con una storia affascinante da raccontare. Il percorso è ben calibrato, piacevole e adatto a un pubblico ampio.
Ilenia (spero di ricordare correttamente il nome) è stata una guida preparata, chiara e accogliente. Con il suo entusiasmo è riuscita a trasmettere tutta la passione che nutre per la storia della città, rendendo la visita ancora più interessante.
A conclusione del tour, un aperitivo davvero eccellente: prodotti di qualità, tagliere abbondante e atmosfera rilassata. Un modo perfetto per concludere l'esperienza.

First off; why can you only book it for two people.. I did, but as solo traveler had to waste one ticket.
I have also been to the underground tour in Napoli. That was way more impressive. We had a very friendly tour guide, but the information she gave was a bit random and hard to follow at times; potentially due to not being that versed in English (every sentence long breaks and "ehhh" to find the right words). After every bit everything was repeated in Italian which also didn't help the flow.
We waited for 2 people that were late and started 15 mins late (they still were not there). The tour also took about 45 mins longer than expected. We were asked to be 10 mins early. If someone comes that late I would suggest starting without them

Federico was our guide. He brought to life the history of the tunnels and the amazing Roman village in the museum. His knowledge made this tour worthwhile. It was easy walking and lasted 2 hours, it was not rushed he took the time to answer any questions. He is also aware of the people on the tour ensuring their safety and making sure the group stayed together.

The variety of locations we went throughout the tour was great, we especially liked the candlelit beginning. One hiccup happened, we showed up at the wrong location for the tour because we were following the address of the main office which was at the top of the first page of the tickets, and the address for the meeting point for the tour was at the bottom of the second page. However, we called and they accommodated us and let us come to the next scheduled tour, which was that afternoon, and it worked out perfectly. Highly recommend!

We visited 3 underground sites beginning with a WWII shelter near the Don Bosco school, followed by the San Resutita Crypt, which also doubled as a bunker. We ended the tour the Roman archeological site beneath San Eulalia Church. Fabio gave a wonderful explanation of the sites supported by his capable young daughter. We enjoyed the time immensely.

Abbiamo avuto l’occasione di visitare la Cagliari sotterranea ed è stata un’esperienza davvero affascinante. Camminare nei tunnel scavati nella roccia, tra cunicoli, cripte e rifugi antiaerei, è come fare un salto indietro nel tempo. La guida è stata coinvolgente, ricca di aneddoti storici e curiosità che hanno reso il tour ancora più interessante. Ogni angolo nasconde una storia e si percepisce chiaramente quanto questi luoghi abbiano fatto parte della vita quotidiana dei cagliaritani nei secoli. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole scoprire un volto insolito e misterioso della città.

We participated as a family of 3 generations. While I had expected the tour to be more of caves (led to believe so by the accompanying photo) than of an underground Roman city and a crypt, it was altogether a fun experience. The candle blowing was a blast for the 5 year old!
What drags down the rating is that we were a tour of 5 parties - and there were 2 children in one of the parties who didn't speak English. As a result, some 20 people waited for the guide to complete guiding in Italian for these 2 children (the adults in the group spoke English according to their own testimony) and then continuing the guiding in English. One would have hoped the parents could have translated the relevant parts for these 2 children. Now it became extensively long and tedious for us all - Italian and English speaking parties alike - when the stops doubled in duration.

Our guide Silvia was very knowledgeable but trying to deliver the tour in both Italian and English made the commentary way too fast and very rushed. Some people in the group couldn’t understand her English because she spoke so quickly. This impacted the enjoyment of the tour overall although the sites visited and history were very interesting. I also thought the group was too big given the confined spaces visited.

We scheduled this tour sort of last-minute as we were not sure we could make the timing work. We are SO GLAD we did it! The guide was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. While the high temperatures outside made this underground tour even more appealing, it would be worth every penny in any time of year. So much information, a lot of fun, and quite a bit of variety. It ended up being one of our family's favorite things we did on the whole vacation. Add this activity to the top of your list when visiting Sardinia!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Underground Cagliari Experience guided by Francesca. She gave a really positive vibe and explained everything with a lot of eagerness. What we loved most was the fact that Francesca shared "the people's" experience of the underground, how chambers were (mis)used in the past and what the locals thought of it. 2 hours when past like it was 5 minutes. Would highly recommend to everybody that likes an out-of-the-ordinary view! At the end we got the feeling that we understand Sardies better, and that's a twist we did nit expect. Hope they keep up the good work :)

This was well worth doing. Our guide was wonderful, very knowledgeable and kept the tour fun and engaging. The underground locations were really interesting to explore and provided a really great history of the city.

Thanks to our tour guide. She was very friendly and explained a lot about the underground places in Cagliari. Was a great, helpful, interesting and exciting tour. There was nothing that we didn't like.

Francesca is such a knowledgeable guide. The information she delivered was so interesting and she injected some humour to it which made the whole experience so enjoyable.
She was able to answer questions from the group and she clearly has done her research.
